I lose my mind completely
Madness will finally defeat me

Flo & Spicey

‎"it's difficult to describe just how weird and special this package is. comprising a 3 track cassette, a tote bag, an art print, a badge, a lyric booklet and a photograph book, 'first' is the initial utterance from a mysterious duo that are known to be based in glasgow, are well-versed in the diy history of that city and, well, that's about it. musically, the lo-fi stew is instantly fulfilling. using cut ups, samples, noise and drift, the 3 tracks here range from unintelligible noise to pure psych-soul pop. it's the latter that hits the best, with a sultry female vocal (flo?) delivering a stand-offish, perfect sulk of a vocal in the best french pop tradition while a howling at the rain male rages under heavy echo. there's scant clues in the art print or the two booklets accompanying but a labour of love in the best diy tradition this most definitely is. as an initial utterance it doesn't get more ambitious or fun than this." rough trade

Now to buy in Rough Trade London (or online) or in Monorail Glasgow.

It was springtime with pink flowers and blue sky. Now it´s summer and grey sky. Tomorrow off to Glasgow for the summer and to be honest it doesn´t matter that it´s grey. I´m happy anyway.

River a beautiful dream

Oh god how I love this guy! He have followed my life since I was like 13-14 and still my love for him is so strong. His music touch me like nothing else. It just feels for real.

Friday, drinking wine, listening to Dusty. I want spring now. And some dancing.

hello daddy! hello mom!

I woke up this morning from an intense dream where I was playing guitar and singing "cry, cry, cry". Since then I have been thinking that I should start to play the guitar and I had a look for a course, so I actually get started and not trying on my own (I found that quite difficult). I feel inspired after watching "The Runaways". I just love the scene when Joan Jett is going to take guitar lessons and she just plug in her electric guitar playing randomly really loud. Love it. Just wanna be as cool as Joan Jett! And maybe one day I will do music on my own like I always been dreaming about.

Different Drum

First time I heard this song it was played by The Pastels with Stephen singing with his cute voice. I always loved the song. And then all of a sudden I heard it the other day on TV, in a commercial sung by a woman. I just though that it was so weird that someone covered a song by The Pastels and then someone in a big company would use it in a car commercial. So I had a search and found out the version with The Stone Poney and oh my god. I have just been listening to it on repeat. It´s beautiful and I love Linda Ronstadt´s voice and look. Thank you The Pastels making me discover the song and thank you Linda for singing it so amazingly.
